How to Add Your Hosting Email Account to Microsoft Outlook

Published on July 27, 2026

Microsoft Outlook lets you send and receive email from your ConsulHosting email account on a Windows or macOS computer, an Android phone or tablet, or an iPhone or iPad. This guide explains how to manually set up your email account in the different versions of Outlook.

Note This guide is intended for email accounts included with ConsulHosting web hosting. If you use an external email provider, use the server settings supplied by that provider.

Add an email account to the new Outlook for Windows

  1. Open Outlook. If the account setup screen does not open automatically, click the gear icon in the top-right corner, open Accounts and Your accounts, and then click Add account.
  2. Enter your full email address and click Continue.
  3. Select IMAP if Outlook asks you to choose an account type.
  4. Enter the password for your email account, click Show more, and disable Use recommended settings if necessary. Then enter the following details:

  2. Click Done to complete the setup.

Outlook will now synchronize your email messages and folders. This may take some time, depending on the size of your mailbox.

If Outlook has a File tab in the top-left corner, you are using classic Outlook.

  1. Open Outlook and click File in the top-left corner.
  2. Click Add Account.
  3. Enter your full email address, open Advanced options, and select Let me set up my account manually.
